A Good Book is Like A Good Joke

January 18, 2017 By Andy Nixon Leave a Comment

British author and million-seller Alain de Botton once said, “Writing a book is like telling a joke and having to wait 2 years to know whether or not it was funny.”

I know the feeling. My first book, 50 Shades of Grades, My Journey Through Wacaddemia came out in 2013. Recently I heard from Emmy Award winner Producer/Director Howard Kazanjian (Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Arc, and many more).

His comments follow: “The deep message of rags to riches, or should I say struggle to fulfillment is a story everyone should read.”

If you’ve not yet read the book, take Howard’s advice.
