My first book, 50 Shades of Grades, My Journey Through Wacademia, begins in my hometown, Clairton, PA, situated on the Monongahela River, twelve miles upriver from Pittsburgh. My second book, an historical novel, Three Lives of Peter Novak, begins in Bosnia in 1889, travels across Europe, enters the U.S. through the port of Baltimore, and the rest of the story takes place in and around Clairton, PA.
I am so pleased to be preparing for a return speaking and book signing tour to the Pittsburgh area. We will be leaving Las Vegas on April 19 and our first engagement will be Thursday, April 20 the Jefferson Hills Library, located on Old Clairton Road in Jefferson Borough. There we will be hosted by the Jefferson and Clairton Libraries. Several bookclubs from both areas will be in attendance and we look forward to a lively interchange of ideas and observations.
Saturday morning will find us at the Bethel Park Library in Bethel Park, PA, discussing our books as well as “Writing for Fun and Profit.” This will be our first visit tot this venue and we anxiously anticipate meeting their fine staff and many patrons.
By 4:00 that afternoon we’ll visit the iconic Blue Flame Restaurant on Route 51, speaking in their banquet room to several book clubs and other organizations.
One more engagement is tentatively scheduled after a local church meeting.
We would love to see and visit with any readers and meet the many who have corresponded with us.
Hope to see you there.
