We were honored to have Three Lives of Peter Novak reviewed in the July 6, 2016 edition of the American Srbobran, “The Largest and Oldest Serbian Newspaper in America and Canada.” The review follows: Andrew R. Nixon of Las Vegas, Nevada and Lodge 200 announced the release of his latest historical novel, Three Lives of Peter Novak, published by Blue Sun Studios, Inc. The story will appeal to you especially if you are descended from immigrants. Characters are diverse. Born in 1889, the Bosnian Serbian protagonist, Peter Novak was brought into the world by a Muslim midwife, indentured to a German horse breeder, befriended by an american diplomat, and lived in a Croatian boarding house. His story offers plenty of excitement and intrigue. From indentured servitude, Novak travels a path of hard work, ingenuity, and loyalty on the way to freedom. We don’t want to tell too much, other than to add that much of the story takes place in the booming industrial days of the early 20th century along the Monongahela Valley from Pittsburgh to Clairton to Charleroi. Nixon adds, “The book has elements of kindness and brutality, of chicanery and intrigue. It is a story I am certain you will enjoy.”
